Good Afternoon,
I wanted to add my positive experience here. I am a 24/7 submissive to my Master and have been for almost 9 years now, and we have been married for 25+. We by no means "know it all", but we have been blessed to have seen a lot and learned a lot in our time in the active community scene. Our relationship has grown alot in the last couple of years, and we have become very interested in a poly family. I have also found that I do have some "dominant, sadistic" interests. I joined CM last December in the hope of finding a male sub - boy and got a couple of hits that nothing came of. Then, all of a sudden, things picked up - 7 months after I joined! So, my first comment is, do not give up!
I have corresponded with 2 very nice gentelmen that are geographically close enough that there was a possibility of something happening. My Master and I met the first one for lunch and we all hit it off great! He and I have not yet been able to work out the details for a "play date", but I know it will happen and we continue to trade emails. Each time I read something from him it puts a smile on my face!
The second gentleman and I have corresponded and chatted and decided a meeting was in order. He came to our house on a Friday when we were having another scene couple for dinner and casual conversation - no play. He spent the weekend with us, since we live out in the country and it was a long drive for him. We did not play at all or observe any protocol or rules. But we did spend the entire weekend talking and getting to know each other.
I know I have had a good time getting to know both of them and even if it turns out that I end up with 2 new 'scene' friends, that will be good. But I do hope both of their bottoms become acquainted with one or two of my paddles sooner or later! I do know these things are better if everyone goes slow and builds trust and security and keeps the communications open, so I am not in a hurry.
I do like CM, I enjoy the message boards and chat rooms, and I enjoy corresponding with everyone who write to us! If you are out here thinking it is impossible, don't give up. Keep all your options open and keep a positive outlook! Make friends and who knows who you might meet!
