When is it real?
 
You can read in alot of profiles and posts in forum about all the players.
 
Ok.  I know that this will be different for everyone.  Diversity is the basis of the question.  Wondering what others consider real.
 
After messaging in cyber world and communicating via.. this medium, with with both potential partners and friends.
When is it real?
 
For me it isn't  a real investment of emotion on a deep level unless the person would be attending my funeral. ( or on that sort of level)
 
I know that is a strange benchmark .. but until then .. I consider it all just casual.. and far from reality. 
 
Another of mine would be if the person would be able to contact me even if the power went out...  ( no computer or phone)

Yup.  when my cell was wanky, and Master had ISP problems,  the fact that He called my daughter and said "This is Me, I'm trying to get ahold of your mother, will you please tell her for me that I'll keep trying til one of us gets through?"   that spoke to me.

The fact that He'd already had the numbers to my Hubby and grown family in case of emergency told me something before that, but the fact that He used it when it wasn't an emergency, but to leave me assurances i was not left hanging..  wow.

I'm just gonna avoid the whole "what is real" philosophical issue because that won't get us anywhere.

It's real when you say it's real.  Even for you, you have posted a very large range of where things could fall to be "real."

It's real for the other person when they say it's real for them.

Now, you never asked what "it" is.  To you- IT could be a loving long term relationship.  To them- IT could be a hot summer fling.

Once you've all agreed on what "it" is and then agreed that "it's" real, then it's all good.

All of my experience has been in real time. Only meeting has been cyber. For me it is real when we meet, touch, and I see a paticular look in the eyes.

Well at least you didn't mention begging for a collar, deciding whether you are a sub or a slave, and then how to deal with the guy you just fell in love with and got collared to dumped you.

If the power is out ... try smoke signals.  I will try to contact until I get ahold of my sub/slave.  I'll try family and other friends to deliver a message ... contact is the 'real' aspect of any relationship.

I have to say AMEN to this one Mistress mine, it directly relates to the question i have answered from the numerous subs/slaves i have spoken to in the past few months.
 
They always ask what is the best way to impress Jewel, my answer as you know is always simply "SHOW UP!".

I have no idea what you all are speaking about, there is no such thing as fake ads, and all who profess to be are Dom/me and sub/slave.

In all honesty it is real when it feels real to you.  Everyone has thier own measure of what they think real is.  So long as you keep to what you have decided is your measurement then you will not go wrong.

For some it is real when they have the online only cyber relationship, and honestly who are we to say if that is real or not?  For others in da flesh in person may not even be real.

Stick to what works for you and dont let anyone change that, its that old gut instinct feeling.

Real is a myth.......along with lochness, bigfoot, and the toothfairy. Or didn't all of you know?.......living in fantasy and refusing to deal with reality is all the rage.
