Ok, who has started their christmas shopping already?  I always start in August, and by the time October is here, I'm done.

My slave mentioned the other day that we have to start thinking about Christmas shopping. What?! It's still summer. It's still hot out. I don't start thinking about Christmas shopping until December at least. I guess that will change. Lol.

I start thinking about it early.  And I really do mean to start at least by November.  But I guess I'm a procrastinator, usually don't start until mid-December!

I always wait until the last minute. I'm the one at the grocery store buying the half-dead poinsettia on Christmas eve because I have realized I forgot someone.

(edited because I misspelled Christmas for pete's sake!)

I start thinking about what to get people for Christmas on December 26. You can get some really nice stuff for a good price on that day!!

I've done some shopping already. Helped that I was at a Kinky Poets Alliance poetry reading and got a couple of the anthologies there. Nothing like a little kinky poetry to make a nice Christmas gift for someone!

I saw a few things at Costco that I thought Daddy would like, but I am keeping my mouth shut about it... and I have to get a job before I buy anything for anyone...

You know what is always a nice thought? Getting someone something that they are missing from a set. For example my mom has these great mixing bowls that were given to her when she got married years ago, two were broken. The whole set is highly collectible and can sell for 300 dollars if in great shape. I bought her the bowls on ebay so her set is complete now (and I replaced them for under 50 bucks). Her china set is missing the gravy bowl, so I might get her that this year....

My Daddy mentioned that he needs a certain bicycle seat to restore this collectible bike from when he was a kid... I am going to look for it (but I wonder how likely I will be to find it...sighs). I think these things make the greatest gifts because they show you really thought of someone.

I bought my former dom an antique book for his birthday because he mentioned this book and that his dad had given it to him, but a former girlfriend ended up with it... so I found it for him...

Ebay is a great place to shop for Christmas

I'm way ahead of the game.  I did all my shopping last year in November to cover the next 10 years gave everyone their gifts last year December.  So I'm done for the next decade.  So anyone looking for a gift this year just need look at what I gave them last year and rewrap  and unwrap it if need be.  Bah Hum Bug.

Rosa

P.S. Talk to me about holiday shopping after I finish up with the big bird.    I'll probably be jolly good and and riding Santa by then.

Hopefully you didn't get any clothing. Who knows what will be in ten years from now?

Never clothing, coffee mugs maybe.  Really, I'm just kidding, I started thinking about gift shopping months ago.

I bought my Daddy this lovely pale blue polo shirt today with every intention of saving it for Christmas. Instead I gave it to him today. He was pleased.
