I got to talk to her today. Her surgery went well... took four hours... but she is in the home stretch now. She wanted me to let you all know that she is awake and causing trouble for the nurses... I'll let her explain that one when she gets back here. And I know she appreciates all the good wishes from all of her friends here. It will be a minimum of a week before they let her out and possibly as long as ten days to two weeks... lets all hope for the week.. huh?

Good luck with the recovery erin, we're all pulling for you. Get well before halloween, we need someone to stir the smoking cauldron.

Knowing what a horrible patient she is and how hard it is for her to RELAX and take care of herself, I'd prefer they force her to stay :)

Thanks for the news.

I understand that! I talked to her last month and she was off to help a friend cut down a bunch of trees on his newly aquired property... she told me they were all saplings so she would be just fine.... Yeah erin... I'm telling on you here!!! lmao See what happens when you step outta the room for a little while?

Erin you do know this is a ploy to get you down here, you may think he has forgotten all the spankings he owes you but he has them all written down somewhere, lol.

Hey LA i thought you were supposed to stay after to school with me.

Seriously, get better and do it fast!

Yes! Please tell Erin I am so glad to hear she is doing well and giving the nurses hell. Please remind her that ALOT of those nurses are verrrrrrrrryyy kinky under that helpful demeanor!

BIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGG careful hugs to Erin!

I am glad to hear that surgery went well.  I shared a few notes with Erin last week, giving her some encouragement.  I had major surgery in May and I recovered quickly, it really surprised me, what the body is capable of when you give it the right mix of rest + activity, along with keeping your head in the right place.  Please send her my regards.

I am going to agree with LuckyAlbatross here and say that, as much as she might hate the idea, I think it would be better for her to be forced to stay in the hospital longer!  *Smile*
Somehow, it is no surprise to me that she was cutting down saplings last week!
Hugs and best wishes for a most speedy recovery to Erin from Dusty!

I am happy to hear that Erin is doing ok and that her prognosis is good. Please tell her that many of us here are sending her light and wish her a speedy recovery process, but not a rushed one!

Hopefully you will be able to tell the rest of us how she progresses during her convalescense?

And she could get off on it too if they use leather manacles and other restraints. heh

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Thank you for posting this message, Shifted Jewel.
A passionate, headstrong person can sometimes get in the
way of their own best interests.  (smiles)  But that same
fighting spirit will motivate her to get well.

I'm not around these forums very much, and I don't know if she shared with the group here what the procedure is about. But regardless of whatever she is experiencing, I sincerly do wish her all the best in her recovery. My thoughts and warm wishes go out to her. And I do look forward to seeing her on these boards just as soon as she's able.
