A switch is someone who Tops and Bottoms...

They are not necessarily just a Dom/me or just a sub .. they enjoy aspects from both.

I find that most people don't switch with the same person yet find different people with who to engage in certain relationship levels.

A D/s switch is someone who is oriented to be fulfilled in personal intimate relationships as either and/or both the one in authority or the one not in authority for day to day relationship dynamics.

A S&M switch is someone who is comfortable being both the top and the bottom in scenes with other people.

Some switches can switch within one relationship with the same person. Some switches can only switch between relationships (dom to one, sub to another). Some do both.

A switch is how subs were beat prior to there being all these fancy slappers and paddles.
