No thanks required and you are most welcome. I just found it expresses my feelings about a healthy and realistic D/s relationship, and the people involved, so well.

I feel a glow when I see someone that is living this experience and making it work in their lives, being realistic. More importantly honouring the different roles each play yet also the humanity and maturity. It is encouraging.

I have great respect for the people I am beginning to see revealed in yours and Sinergy's posts.

Anyone should behave in a way that is in their best interest to do so in the real world. For example, if you were stopped by a cop for speeding (your fault and you know it), you would be better off to talk to them in a pleasing manner and defer to them. It means less fines for you, and maybe you will get off scot free. It is the annoyingly mean and arrogant asshat who ends up paying 500 dollars in fines for three different tickets, two of them being charges he didn't actually do. It is survival. You do what you do to get by in life. This has nothing to do with how submissive or Dominant you are.

The term for the person who is nice and respectful and submissive to a police officer in this scenario is "Intelligent"

The term for the person who demands they call them Sir or Madam and refuses to speak nicely to them is "Idiot."

Just me, could be wrong, etc.
