mainly, as a slave, this one surrenders all right to it's master. this slave finds this both rewarding and satisfactory :D

I can relate.

And I've gone through periods like you are describing when my thoughts just go round and round in circles until I feel dizzy but can't seem to stop them. Usually I found that action would finally give me the answer I needed. I would finally just STOP trying to think it all out and pick one possibility and do it to see how I felt about it. Sometimes it was the right choice, sometimes it wasn't, but either way, I got a lot of information out of it. FAR more than I could have by continuing to THINK.

That's the problem with people who live in their heads. We try to think out every possibility, every outcome and figure everything out before we act. Sometimes failing to move at all. Then there is the opposite type, those who just act without thinking about anything. There has to be balance. You've probably done all the thinking you can do and the only thing left is to move and experience and know.

Subs have free choice (they can say no) and can have their own life and friends, travel freely while slaves have no free will and are under their masters control 24/7.

You don't think slaves have a life and friends and that subs aren't under their masters authority 24/7?

I know everyone's got their own defintion but this one seems to have no logical basis whatsoever.

How many successful D/s and M/s relationships have you witnessed in daily life to come to this opinion?

i would have to differ on this view, forgive me.  but i am sub, and i am under 24/7 r/t control.  i do have a life as well, but behave under constant thought of pleasing Master.  even though i do have a safeword, i have yet to find an occassion to use it.  i have tremendous respect for Master and one reason for this is He has respect for me and shows it.  perhaps i am sub with slave tendencies or am simply to cautious to consent to the slave status.....

why does this question always seem to turn up. Given enough time and with the right partner a sub will eventually become slave to them. regardless of title changes.

No... I disagree.

An individual will not evolve into a slave relationship unless the person is intrinsically a slave in there nature to begin with.  The speed that such a person evolves into such a relationship is very much subjective to the individuals circumstances.

However, some individuals are just not internally a slave in their nature.   They can be highly submissive but there is an aspect of them that precludes their desire or want to give up total authority to anyone.  This is not a failing.... In fact... I would say that any that is living a life that is authentic to their inner nature is succeeding and will find immense happiness as a result.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

What if the slave is not *A* submissive, and never has been?

Submission and slavery are not a linear progression.

[image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m21.gif[/image]I don't wish to offend you but if you are that unsure I would strongly recomend you not begin any relationship until you have sorted things out for yourself. Those of us who have been around awhile have run into numerous sub/slaves who have been emotionally damaged by unsure Tops such as you. If you are already in a relationship and are exploring I suggest you find a real Dominant who will agree to train your sub/slave and teach you about being a Top be it Master or Dominant. At least that way you wont damage the sub/slave while you make up your mind. All the best in your search.
