I've stayed in for six weeks with no milking or anything, dunno about going any longer.
How long for him ? Well it depends on what you want. With shorter intervals between release he will be very attentive and maybe like a puppy slave for you. The caveat here is if you go too long, it might break his addiction to orgasm. He might be a better person for it, but you will not have as many benefits. There is nothing better than someone who REALLY wants something from you, but there is another level of surrender where one just gives up. I don't think you want this.
Whatever your goals, the wearer should not be told of the release date, except vaguely. Like "It will be raining/snowing" something like that. Make sure you have alot of icewater for cleaning him, don't trust him to do it himself. This is something you have to do, consider it maintainence, like changing the oil in your car. Just like when they put your car up on a lift for a lube job, you'll need similar equipment. You need some strong restraints, without them he might get away from you. Remember, safety first, proper restraint is a must.
When you grant him release after say a month, and actually have sex, you might consider that he be restrained so he cannot touch his penis. If you would like to get on top his hands can be restrained behind the back. If you want him to do the work you can restrain his hands to a collar. I ran across a guy who said he hadn't touched it in five years !
At first I was like "Damn !", but he told me he did have sex, but he was always restrained. If you go this route, make sure you are proficient at installing the chastity belt/device. It needs to be comfortable and secure, and adjusted properly.
A D's work is never done I guess, and when you keep a chaste slave there are some things that you must do yourself. In time he might be eventually allowed to clean himself, but not without experience. Give it a month and see what happens, but you might have to work up to it. Start with a day, then a few days, then a week, eventually a month. At that point see how it goes. You have to play it by ear, but I don't mean listen to his whining. What I mean is that these units are not mass produced so each one responds a bit differently. Your's might whine after an hour, but don't be dissuaded. Complaints of discomfort must be dealt with, but don't forget the restraints, using the proper tools and equipment is always the best.
Remember also that a chaste slave must be kept away from certain power tools, orbital sanders for one, and anything that can cut.
Remembering these simple facts can assure that you get many miles of riding enjoyment from your prized slave. Once chastity become the norm, you can think of it as protecting your ASSets. Kinda like not leaving the keys in your ignition. The slave will have the heavy burden of trust removed from his shoulders as well.
One thing though, don't cuckold him unless you're sure he wants it, or at least can take it. Certain slaves can severely malfunction after cuckolding. Others seem not to mind. The ones that go south after cuckolding need to be replaced. They're just not all capable of handling it. You'll have to use your own judgement here.
