what was the last documentary you watched and enjoyed?

OMG, thats almost all I watch, National Geographic, History, Travel, A&E all have good stuff......I watched one last night on Spain, don't remember the title of it. There has been alot on about the middle east lately and have watched some, it depends on the focus of the piece. I prefer those with a human and historical, kind of how and why the people involved did and became who and what they are. What their beliefs are/where. It helps to understand the current world situations a bit better sometimes. I also enjoy some of the stuff on Animal Planet but it tends to get too cheesy for the most part.

Grizzly Man.  It's one of the best documentaries I've ever seen.  It was recently on again and I sat down and watched part of it.

I am afraid to watch that one, I will get too grumpy.

i enjoyed grizzly man, too. i just watched nefertiti resurrected. i watch all sorts of stuff on people, cultures, nature. it's just a matter of how interesting the subject matter happens to be at the moment.

Genghis Blues, about an American blues musician who teaches himself how to perform an obscure Asian style of vocalising, and then goes to visit the country from whence it originated.

Probly the one about Motley Crue....every time I watch it, i just laugh at the fact that Nikki Sixx was such a junkie...

''Why we Fight'' - Watched it last night.... you can get it at Blockbuster.

It takes a non-partisan look at the Military Industrial Complex and the whole ''follow the money'' scenario. Just listening to Ike's departing / farewell speech was worth the time spent watching the movie - It was excellent, by the way.
