In New Jersey, it doesnt matter who gets elected, really. We have a Government that runs on pork. Pork might be good for Emeril's show, but here in the great Garden State, there are elected persons who hold more than one full-time office, and get paid a HEARTY salary for each of those jobs. They are eligible for pensions and benefits from both positions, also. And the tax-payers foot the bill. All the candidates claim they will make a difference, but even if they wanted to, the porkers already in office won't let them. They are all essentially the same. Greedy, selfish and already too wealthy to care. i do vote, but as yet, it has made no difference. At least in NJ, you can vote for who you want, and not by party, though i don't vote Republican, ever. In my personal experience, 'Republican family man' is synonomous with homophobic, right-wing idiot.
