Into the dark we shall fall
The pityful and the lonely
Woe brings terror and terror brings woe
The sands of time continue as we all turn to stone

The hated and forgotton exist
Timeless, and eternal in forbidden reeds.
Swaying hopeless at the bed of the river
Arms reaching out for contact

But contact is rarely given here
And solitude wails helplessly for comfort
The sound transends and is given a form
A shadow of ebony light beams out from the river

And the tears shed from the forgotton
Begin to make the river rise
The water now poisioned by sorrow turns black
And the waters burst the banks

Led by the shadow it moves over land
Searching for something
All life it touches is absorbed
Its appetite unquenchable, it will continue to search

A tortured world cries out to all
Its scream can now be heard by all
We see the rising water
And we see the shadow

And now we know its time to go.

It's a good poem. Weither it's refering to physical or spirital surroundment, it make me think about what we and this world are comming to. However, I choose to stay and not go. What happens to me now?
