Hello all I am Ben, 35, SWM from Cockeysville, MD. My profile says it all.

I have chatted with some on here but they seem to disappear once they see my picture which proves how shallow some people can be.

I also have met one or two who do not seem to want to go to clubs and let people see us together...which is unfortunate but that is their right.

I grow steadily weary of a shallow and materialistic society that seems to feel that a man who is not a millionaire and who does not look like Fabio or Ah-Nold in his hey day or Tom Cruise or whatever is not a man worth dating.

I come with a world of great qualities that more than make up for my rather homely appearance.

Hi Ben, welcome to the forum side.

Yes, trying to find a partner can a pain in the backside (and not in good way, either). Letting off a bit of steam can be a healthy thing and the forums are full of people willing to listen to views, share information.... and all that good stuff. Heck, some of them are really funny (as in 'ha, ha' not as in 'hmmm'....well.... that too!)

So when you want to take a break from the hunt, and unwind a bit, why don't you join us over here? (You've already taken that hard first step by posting your intro).
