I actually have a pair of those. Patent black 6" pumps. They are so cheaply made that it is impossible to walk in them. The construction is *so* bad that there is no support in the heel (steel spike) nor in the soles. I have other 6" heels sans platfoms that I *can* walk in.They are fun to look at while wearing though!

My foot is about 8" long (heel to tip of toe). I have 6" non-platform spikes that, for me, are the equivalent of toe-shoes. The boots with these type heels literally cause my calves to cramp just tying them up! They are indeed yummy, though; and what woman would NEVER suffer for fashion????

Wow, someone with a Henry Higgins complex.

i'll agree its a pet peeve of mine as well, in fact, i weep for most grammar teachers today. Yet, as a submissive, i don't think i have a place to tell a Dominant Woman how to type (unless She asks). Not to mention D/s can have its own grammatical quirks to begin with.

Notice i've been using "i" and not "I?" i don't us "I" here because i want to show i'm submissive, if only in that small way. Any reference i make to Dominant Women, i'll capitalize. That behavior goes directly against what those AP style courses taught me, but then, AP and D/s don't intermingle anyway.

your original post has incomplete sentences, misused commas, quotation marks and could have been broken into two paragraphs. my little red pen is chomping at the bit to show you just how imperfect your spell-checker is.

This is not the Eliza Doolittle forum, i don't think you'll find a submissive woman here happy to fetch your shoes. The purpose here isn't to beg or issue orders to a Mistress, the point is to ask Them a question. If you don't like how a person types, well, this is the internet and it is Enry Iggin's worst nightmare. That's just reality.

I love this post because not only did it teach me something (Henry Higgins complex), it also told the original poster to get a clue and understand the only person he is permitted to control is himself.
Malepleases4ever, if you don't like the way the Dommes write, block them, or skip them and move on to the Doms. M

I disagree with the "as a submissive" part, submikro. You imply that malepleases4ever should not criticize dommes because he's a sub. This isn't a scene or even a play party. It's a forum where opinions should be free. Submissives don't need to be submissive to anyone who calls himself or herself dominant (even if they are). It's good politics, but mostly good manners, to be polite to dominants, but also to be polite to submissives.

Besides following the rules of the message boards, we don't owe anything more to any one else here.

Thank you Ctclay. The best remark to this question to date, and to think it came from a fellow nutmeg.

This is the "Ask a Mistress" forum, not the "Command a Mistress" forum.

Nobody is my Mistress here (yet) nor do they control me in any way nor would I want them to (yet, lol). Still, whether or not i agree with their opinion, approach or how the present themselves, i want to show Them my respect, not tell them what to. But if a Dominant came to the sub forum with a topic like that and tried to tell me what to do, i'd be just as critical of Them.

It was really more of where he chose to put the topic and the condecending tone that went with it. The whole "everyone should type as i type" thing came off as incredibly rude. To make it even more rude, a Domme was singled out. Not cool.

Why have I forsaken you? Let me count the ways....

I find your smarmy, sarcastic remarks disrespectful. I find your flippant manner and riot insighting ways rather loathesome and frankly childish.

If it's attention you are craving and seeking, why not post something that is thought provoking rather and intelligent than critical and snide. Your prior comments, which you chose to edit, described your 'switch' from a submissive to a Dominant, and the comments in and of themselves were fairly disrespectful to female submissives. I find that not only immature, but behavior unbecoming a submissive in general.

You have danced around this topic, throwing barbs as you have chosen, which is your right. But please, for the love of god, when someone reacts (I know, I fell for the trap that was obviously set....bad me, bad me!!!) you pull this 'innocent' act.

Spare us the Dime store D/s and be a nice boy for the love of God.

Lily (AKA Mrs. Dreadfire....who incidentally respectfully requests that you use the title Ms.)
