juliaoceania -> Faith Based Voting (9/21/2006 7:18:25 AM)

Just a little news story for an election year, if others are interested in discussing this I will be happy to fish up some alternative links. I had a very good friend that worked for an organization that documented these irregularities several years ago. My former dom used to complain about "faith based voting" in his state of Georgia since they adopted Diebold, hence the name of the thread...

US voting machine vulnerable to fraud

SEPTEMBER 19, 2006

COMPUTER scientists at Princeton University say they have created a virus that can override the functions of Diebold voting machines - the US's most popular - altering vote counts with little chance of detection.

Have you heard about papertrails in relationship to computer voting? It is one thing to have flaws, it is another thing to have a machine eat your vote without detection

And the Titanic is unsinkable. I saw her floating just the other day. Didn't you?

Right, so there's no sense in trying to solve the problems we're aware of.

Even if it wasn't hackable.  The presidency is for sale.

We have been sold out.

Evil corporate America.

I wouldn't vote anyway.

All of you suck.

God save our gracious Queen.

Yours,

benji

For the life of me, I will never understand how the American right-wing believe they have anything in common with Jesus Christ.

If Jesus walked through America with his long hair, preaching love and peace and throwing the money lenders out of temples, he'd be crucified before you could say "Hippy".
