Status: offline 		I'm just curious how many of the other Masters who are in a long distance relationship with Their sub deal with punishment in the event that Their slave/sub misbehaves.

For Me, personally, I'm have issues with punishment for My sub... right now I'm in Korea and she is CONUS. If she messes up, I can't be there to discpline her properly, and I feel that merely saying "you messed up" is inadequet, as I find from experience that sometimes physical punishment teaches the best lessons.

I do understand that the crime dictates the punishment, and there is a lot of grey area for interpration of how much to punish, but some advice on what other long distance Masters do when Their slave/sub does something wrong on somewhat of a scale (mild, medium, heavy punishment).

ummmm perhaps you wandered into the wrong forums Magiksslave?  For many a large portion of BDSM is about punishment and discipline.  Last I checked to be on cm and the forums you needed to be an adult.

Status: offline 		I know it is part of it for some people but at the same time there are many people who dont think adults should be punished for everyday things... anyway it was hypathetical devils advocate question anyway.

Status: offline 		Lol, Magick, yes...W/we have. This relationship started completely vanilla and W/we built together to WIITWD now. He joined the military long after W/we were together. He is just stationed in another ountry right now. But fear not! W/we're getting married in two week, and i'm moving back to Korea with Him.

LOL yes, it does seem an odd question to be asking NOW.  About to get married and all he can think of is how to physically punish his fiance long distance?

Oh and no, with adults there is no SHOULD or SHOULD NOT- it's whatever works in the relationship.  There really are a large number of Ms relationships that DO NOT employ punishment within their dynamic.

lol....but W/we will be long distance again at some point, and it's just recently that W/we've talked more about this and  intensified things a bit.

Status: offline 		LD punishments can be quite tricky, at least for me they are. I have used writing a book report on the story of O, self breast torture over webcam, forced masturbation without orgasm and if I am feeling cruel I just let them know that it will come when I see them again. In my experience, the anticipation of what I may or may not do is far worse than any actual thing that I can do remotely. Granted, that sets me up on a nice pedistal when I get back but I like having expectations to surpass.
