We are planning to start up a kinky drum circle here in the greater LA area.  All the current information that we have thought up is currently up in our most current journal entry on collarme.  To save my fingers from yet another long typing session, I would rather re-direct you to go read it there.

I'm not real familiar with LA, but I know there is a spiritual kink group called PLAY which was founded by Master Skip Chasey. This is their website and I think the email is still active. It might be worthwhile to check with them for interest of if they already have one.

Thank you Master Fire,  we took a look through the website but couldn't find anything involving a drum circle.  While we are open to other people's religion, we wouldn't want our drum circle to really have anything to do with religion.  Our vision is to just ahng everyone hang out and relax, and play when they feel like it.

It was an idea based on a group whom I know to be spiritualy based...and not just with one religion/spirituality. They just happen to meet in a Christian church, but are open to all. They might be a good place simply to contact and ask about other spiritual kink happenings in the area. Dunno, since I don't live there, but might be worth a shot.

I wish you the very best of luck with this event. Drumming is something very close to my heart.. (or some body part.. ::chuckles::) and it sounds incredible.

Please let me know if you ever plan on comming to the Dallas area. I enjoy being in Drum Circles kink or not. I remember attending the 1996 Music Therapy Convention in Houston TX. The Galleria Mall / Hotel was reserved. We started a Drum Circle around 8pm. By mid night, the drum circle up being a Drum Line galaping through the entire mall untill 2am.
