I have a few questions..first off, I am seeing an occasional post in a thread that says [awaiting approval] and I wondered, what does that mean?
I don't mean to sound dumb, but before my profile was even approved, I could post, so I am confused.
Also, when I see restrictions on mentioning children- this is in the sexual sense, only, yes? I have answered a couple posts reguarding kids- mostly you know, the question of stuff during pregnancy and lactating- but then again, I saw someone referring to children as 'unmentionables'?
Anyway, sorry if I am being dumb, I'm just curious.

It means that the poster is moderated, which means he's done something which P.O.d the Moderators, usually by violating the TOS and none of his posts actually get posted until a moderator approves them. Often it means the poster won't be around much longer. If he keeps up the behaviour which caused the Moderators to do this, he gets his account cancelled.
