I just spent my first night locked in a cb-2000, while it was not uncomfortable, and it makes my Lady very happy, I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on how to make life with it on, more comfortable or easier to live vannnila life with, ie: job etc.

I had one put on me and I developed urinary problems...so I don't recommend it.

I think the big ring at the base is too wide and crushes the urinary pathways. Also..i think the CB 2000 in itself was rather small...it seems like it has a tendency to bunch up the genitals and restrict proper urinary flow.

Seems like a piercing or sheath tube type chastity on the shaft of the penis itself would be the better option.

But...I can't say I have had any experience with those.

I know people that have and they don't have any complaints...exept being locked up of course..lol.

I prefer the curve, but then again my boy didnt fit well into a CB2k or 3k. The main thing I will stress is hygiene. The number of problems that boys in chastity have are usualy predominantly hygiene related, from skin irritation to sores and such. I know the curve that I have has a booklet explainng the proper way to clean and maintain yourself in long term.
Chat groups and other resources are also a good idea, to get tips from otehrs who are in and are caring for themselves successfully.

As someone with no experience in this area....I wonder what the meaning is of wearing a device that commonly causes skin rashes, hygiene problems and urinary infections.  Why not just take a vow of chastity and trust your submissive to not have sex with others, or touch oneself (if thats your agreement)  rather than risk these maladies? 

This is directed to anyone who would be inclined to answer.

I've asked several people about this because I tend to feel the same way. What I've been told is that it's a fetish, an act that both owner and owned get pleasure from. I tend to think of it like my collar. It's something I -enjoy- wearing, and my owner enjoys me wearing. Sure it -could- cause problems if we're not careful, but we both enjoy it.

For some people, the actual chastity -device- is the turn on, not the simple act of being chaste. It's the pysical stuff that does it for them.

i agree with perverse...i love bondage (steel, rope, lol anything) that is inescapable. if i can't untie, unlock, or wriggle out of it, that is a huge turn on. its the same with a chastity device. to me, its a form of bondage. a neo (or the like) is heavenly bondage just applied to a  different place.

perverse,ducky...Thank you for sharing that.  I guess I always wondered what the thrill was..... and well....It always crossed my mind about the cleanliness part and the ability to go about every day life with it in place.  But I can certainly understand it feeling like a form of 'bondage' or a physical reminder of sorts that youre owned and or 'locked up'.

I hope I didnt come off like I was mocking it....just curious is all.

I can answer this, becasue the chastity device I am going to be putting my boy in is by his request.
He has a vow of chastity, essentialy. He is alowed to orgasm only when I give him direct permission. That is the mainstay of his long distance control while we are separated. The problem is, he is only human.  While resisting is possible, it take a lot of will power. The higher the stress gets, the harder it is to resist something that relaxes him. I never worried about him having sex with someone other than me. The idea was to make it easier for him to keep his vows, and keep his hands off. He had worried several times that he had his room to himself and he started touchig without realy thinking about it. While my control isnt questioned, boys will be boys and often go back to their own unconscious ways when they arent paying attetion. He was very concerned that one of these days he was going to break his promise without any real intent to do so but more a reverting to old habits.
I had wanted to leave him in it while he was at schol and I was here, using plastic locks so that he could remove it whne he had to, but we were concerned about his being discovered and it causing more trouble than it was worth.
The enjoyment I get out of the device is obvious, it is the ultimate control over a male. Plus, the curve makes for a much nicer line when I have him dressed certain way, rather than allowing him to get hard under outfits.

I can relate both to this and to the other reasons.  I've fantasised about chastity devices for the sheer enjoyment of being "owned" and "locked up", but there is also the practical consideration.  My Master is training me slowly to only orgasm with permission, and gradually increasing restrictions on my sexual activity to reach a similar state that DV describes.  While so far I have still been allowed fairly regular activity, I must be honest with Master and admit that at a certain point, I know I will need more than just willpower to comply with his instructions.
