BD123 -> Rack experience? (9/24/2006 6:38:33 PM)

I believe every dungeon or playroom should be equipped with a bondage rack/table. It is not necessary or required to pull limbs apart. However with careful use and attention to detail I believe the experience can be beneficial to the sub and don. Submitting to the rack requires a great deal of trust in your other significant partner, as with about any bdsm game.

The question before the form members is two fold:
1-     Has anyone experienced a session on the rack and would you be so kind to elaborate the experience?
2 - Does anyone have plans or examples of  “home built” racks they are willing to share?

I have been on a rack many times.  Its very tight and secure.  Its total and complete immibilization.  This is the type on bondage that I enjoy.  I highly reccomend it.

Poke around furniture stores, new, steel framed, four half-poster beds with metal head and foot boards start at about NZ$300, if you skip a mattress and are willing to self assemble.

They are pretty indestructable if you attach the limbs to the corners, level with the horizontal frame. Since any tugging is parallel to the frame

(Anybody know a wayof attaching sketches to CM posts?)

I suspect if you attach limbs to the top of the posts, you may find the screws/bolts connecting the posts at right angles to the base might bend over time.

If you mount it vertically, anchor the posts to the wall, since the long metal frame is only attached to the end boards using thin bolts so any back and forth flexing may snap them.
