A Story About Trees
a Birch and Beech tree were looking down on a sapling growing between them.
An Ash tree was off to the side.
The Birch asked if the sapling was a son of a Birch or a son of a Beech?
No one knew.
A woodpecker fkew up and sat in the sapling so the Beech asked him to find out which one it was, son of a Birch, or son of a Beech. The woodpecker agreeded.
He took a few bites and said "Neither a son of a Birch or son of a Beech, but is does taste like the best piece of Ash I have had my pecker in for a while." Then he flew off.
