I find it amusing that so many; most quite young Women; don't realize that they are only playing into the hands of the men they claim to be bitchy to. In this way, the man gets to get his thrills and can still act the devoted hubby..etc. A little money changes hands, he gets his thrills and She gets a car payment. What happened to the lifestyle. Being a submissive is not a game. It is an intregal part of everything that guides and dictates what we are. A submissive gives in all aspects of their life, not just in a quick fix session. If stranger on the road has a flat tire, they change it, not drive by. If an elderly Lady has no means and needs a new roof, they gather friends and get the job done. The desire to help, serve and please is a core part of our make-up. Would I want to serve a Bitch, no way. A Lady, yes. A True Lady is not a bitch, She is a person that knows what She wants and is not afraid to go for it. There are many true male slaves in this world, but the game players and the ones that cater to them make it indeed a unfriendly place for a slave to seek. I guess this can all be written off as young and dumb.

Well dominant people like to help others also, so it is not about being a submissive or a dominant... we call it being a decent human being where I was raised... As far as being a lady or a bitch.. women contain multitudes, and the smart man embraces this and uses it to his advantage no matter his orientation

In some aspects of my life being a bitch is profitable. That said i am not a bitch to the One i choose to submit. Ok so that is my opinion and perhaps not His although i assure you that if i am a bitch to Him there will be punishment that i will not enjoy. But don't forget that it's a lot of fun to tie up a bitch and gag her and fuck her and make her come ten times while she utters muffled fffffffffffffffffffffmmmmmmmmmmffffffffffffffffmm's. That sometimes occasions a serious attitude adjustment. If men really didn't want their women to mouth off to them, they wouldn't tolerate it.

Personally, I don't see why submission -can't- be a game to some. Or, at least something that -isn't- a serious, life and death, identity determining thing. While my need to submit to my partner is a critical part of who I am, I think saying that this is true for -everyone- devalues those individuals who like getting their thrills and returning to a fully equal partnership with their partners. This doesn't make that individual less committed to her submission to her parnter, it simply frames the submission into the context they want in their relationship. Similarly, why on earth should a submissive individual be any more likely to help strangers than non-submissive individuals? Why do we need to all display the same traits, or need to please -everyone- to our very cores? I find that the submissive individuals I'm aquainted with, self included, for the most part enjoy making others happy, yes, but don't feel an incredible desire to serve and help -everyone-. While I get pleasure out of doing my Owner's dishes, frankly I wouldnt' go to a friends house and begin doing -their- dishes. I know that the OP is only asserting what works for hir, and only speaking from personal perspective. However, when I see such generalizations I occationally (often, I suppose) feel the need to point out that this -is- a very spesific definition, which is being presented as a universal truth.

Hmm - all those "reals" and "trues" in the post profile. Where you see a woman "playing into the hands" of a man, perhaps the two involved see a perfectly contented and working relationship. Some men seek exactly the situation you say you don't want. They want to serve a Bitch. Many submissives are not particularly giving in other aspects of their life - ask the cops and CEOs who are sexually submissive how submissive and giving they are in their professional lives. I hope that you find what you seek, but remember that others are seeking something entirely different.

Just remember it takes all types of people to make up the world. Take what you want in this lifestyle and seek it out. Leave the stuff you don't want behind. And remember..what one person may think is bitchy, is another persons heaven. dawn

All good points...and the term bitch has come to be used to put down any woman who is strong and refuses to be backed down or bullied. Just another way for weak men to control "uppity" women. So now, in a lot of ways, "bitch" is worn as a badge of honor, but the real thing, a griping, harping, nagging, unreasonable, selfish, harridan, is not so good. Really, I grew up always taught to be the "nice girl", but in the REAL world, sometimes a lady must be a Grade A Royal pain-in-the-ass BITCH in order to properly take care of herself. Since there are not really any Prince Charmings on gallant steeds riding to rescue the damsel in distress, the damsel can't sit around looking demure. For the record, I like someone who behaves in this manner...but, we must realize that not everyone in in this lifestyle for the same reasons we are. No Dom or Domme should be a "dick" or a "bitch". This is my biggest problem with the generalization of D/s. Do I have on rose-colored glasses? I'm a sub, but my Dom must treat me well always ...
