You ever have one of those days where things change tremendously, as if a huge weight has been lifted from your shoulders and you no-longer mimic the toils of Atlas? Well that's today for me when I found and joined these forums.
An ex-gf introduced me to some of the themes of BDSM a few years ago, with her a sub and me as dom. Of course, we both had no idea what we were doing. Certainly no formalness or structute to it. However, it did touch in me things I had long suppressed but knew were there all along (fallout from a sexually rigid childhood and upbringing).
Alas, that relationship ended due to distances caused by job responsibilities. Since then I haven't been able to sustain a steady relationship because that once-quiet beast couldn't be satiated in a vanilla relationship. Being the "good, repressed" boy that I am, I spent years supressing what it really was that needed to be free.
Thus, I am here to announce loud and long and proud that I am a Dom and that is good. I've always been one. It just took someone, as well as some time, to make me find it.
Now, I just need to learn how to do it. It's a shell of decades of guilt that needs to be chipped away, but when completed, I'll shall be One.
