I've heard it over and over that watching Ren and Stimpy can lower your IQ. My argument as always been that it can't lower your IQ. The episodes normally play classical music which is said to raise ones IQ. If Ren and Stimpy are to lower your IQ, then the music is there to atleast keep you balanced.

I've never watched Ren and Stimpy, maybe that explains it.

Try the Teletubbies - but take a good dose of something first - you can feel yourself reverting to childhood thought patterns as you watch.

I dont believe its a children's programme at all - I think it was developed by MI6 to export to other countries who might otherwise leap ahead of us in world standing.

D'you reckon GWB watches Teletubbies?

I always liked Ren he was an alright guy, Stimpy was too girly for me. No I don't think it lowers IQ's, but I think subliminal messages are sent thru Barney.

Ren and Stimpy!!!!! Wohoo!!  I absolutely loved it when it was on over here!  Not too sure if it lowers your IQ as mine is 123 which isn't too bad.  However, I do listen to a whole range of music, including classical.  Maybe that balances it out!

My Daddy loves Ren and Stimpy enough to hang a picture of them in the entrance of his home so it is the first thing he sees on arrival. Now this is non-negotiable for him, and it stays there. I must really be crazy about him because I refuse to let it bother me.

It actually is their digital imprint posted on celluloid print film and framed.

It is the first picture I ever hang in my house.  And it has a certain place it goes.

Im the Dominant.  Deal with it.

I am envisioning Julia doing a ren & stimpy appreciation ritual.

Hello A/all,

I am thinking it should be something like the socialization scene from Clockwork Orange combined with Netflix sending me season videos.

But that is just me, and I could be wrong.

That is one m*ther f*cking charming horse, that's why!

I remember laughing to tears with the 'happy-happy, joy-joy' episode. It was one of the best and I don't laugh that hard with just any joke, so maybe it can make your IQ lower, but I rather being happy and stupid than smart and bored.
