I’m fairly new to the site, though I was reading the boards before I built a profile, but I’m not really new to the lifestyle. Am I experienced? I think that depends on how you define the term. I haven’t had many subs and while I love to learn, I haven’t explored all of the areas I intend to explore. Even though I haven’t had many subs that were mine, I have had the privilege of working with a few others as part of the learning process. Of the three that were mine, one is living with me now, a second is a distinct part of my life when his schedule permits, and the third who was actually the first parted on reasonably good terms but just couldn’t deal with the schedule that is simply a fact of my career. I’m involved a few other message boards (non-BSDSM ones), mostly for the nights when I get home and my sub has long since gone to bed and is not likely to wake up soon. She does very well at dealing with such an unpredictable schedule but that could be that as a former RN, she used to have an non-traditional schedule herself. As for the man who is part time, his life is busy too and some weeks I see more of his wife and 3 little monsters than I do of him. I’m not really sure where to begin here. Can someone really find a sub online and make it work? I’m hoping that my profile will at least chase away some of the ones that don’t remember or never learned that a dominant person is a person, not just a starring role in their fantasies. Only time will tell if that goal has been accomplished. I’m sure I’ll meet enough good people to overcome the annoyance from the ones who are a pain.
