In recent postings on dungeon design a number of terms concerning horses where noted such as: spanish horse, wooden poney, wooden horse and chinese horse. Are they one and the same item, or are they different items. Can anyone explain and or suggest picture sources and recommended uses?

The Wooden Horse is a rather nasty torture device using a wooden device that forms a V-shape. The slave's weight is forced down onto the point of the V, often by weights tied onto their legs. The Wooden Pony is a similar (and less harmful) device made using a single board (the narrow end presses against the slave's soft parts) which is often used for predicament bondage. Not sure about the Sanish and Chinese horse.
