Benji - sorry to hear about the loss.  We have koi, and were just crushed when some of them got sick earlier this year and we lost 2.  We were able to save the rest, but I had this whole guilt thing going on because 1 of the ones who died did so in a very dramatic and traumatic way - if I knew how to put a fish out of his misery prior to his expiring, I would have done that.  It's worse when you return home to a mess like what you had - you feel like you shouldn't have left!

Actually, Twice guessed it and Topcat even knew it quite well.

Ned's Newt, a show about, well, Ned's Newt.  And Ned.  He featured too.

A disclaimer here; i did know it because i have 3 small grandsons, hey it's better than Barney.

Sorry to hear about your fish, that is a bummer.

A fish funeral was held I hope. Proper flushing and so forth.

Nope.  So far, he's still in the freezer.

At this point, I fear he'd make a rather poor dinner guest, LaT, but if you want, you can invite him to your next party....

Yours,

Biology class in 10th grade, we had a newt tank.  One oddball newt spent his days crawling up to perch in the top corner of the tank.  Mr Erien would stroll over slowly during his monotone lectures and with these huge thick fingers, flick the newt on his nose.  It'd go flying backwards across the tank, bonk it's head on the other side, and always be back up in the corner perch in time to get thunked during the next class.

my first experience with a maso-newt.  And a sadistic bilogy teacher.  Couse, if he was a twue sadist, he'd have denied the newt his hourly nose-flicking.

I am sure Quigley the cat would be delighted.
