Due to certain circumstances my little one is leaving her job in the family business. She will be taking her old job back about 2 hours from where we are now. She will be headed off in about a month and I will be following sometime after the first of the year. That leaves us a 2-4 month window where we will be about 2 hours apart. We can deal with that, won't be a lot of fun, but nothing we can't easily work with. The worst is that we have to give up our boy. He was an absolutely wonderful addition around here but was 2 hours away as it was now we will be 4-5 hours away from us which makes things fairly unworkable. Such is life and one just has to roll with things.
On the plus side half of her family will no longer live 10 minutes away from us and we will be able to be more open (especially around the house) about who we are. We can set up a room and leave it without the need to explain to mom why that part of the house is shut off, lol.
We really are gonna miss the boy but in the end, he doesn't live in the house and while our relationship with him was factored into the plan, we had to do whats best for the house.
