I'll dob myself in.

At work all the phones have digital displays on who's calling.  This also feeds into our phone book on the intranet.
They mispelled my name, so as a joke I asked them to change it to "Great Sage".
They did and also changed my job description.
So for a year, my job description was "Great Sage Equal of Heaven".

I have no knowledge of anyone deserving or not deserving titles. This site is filled with people that claim titles... No one deserves a title from me as far as I am  concerned... my Daddy tells me who he feels deserves their title, other than that I do not make that sort of judgment.

I think it's funny when I read in profiles that Masters are dubbed "Master" after being trained or mentored by another person.  They carry their title as if it's special because some bestowed it on them.  Anyone can bestow, heck I can bestow.  Titles mean nothing to me.  And to brag about having one, that's funny.

"Master"

"Mistress"

"domme"

Well there was a man that claimed to be my "Husband"

(if you notice my bitterness about my ex on this board it is only because he just had his 4th child and is about 30k in arrears on his child support... I have issues[sm=boohoo.gif])

At our hotel, we call our concierge department the "Lifestyle" department, because it goes above and beyond the usual concierge, really making it a lifestyle to stay at our hotel (having a personal contact at the concierge who deals with you at check in, check out, inspects your room for cleanliness, whose schedule you get with your check in info)

Anyway, the department head is called the Lifestyle Manager, and that is an undeserved title.  A more vanilla man I have never met.

However, the head of sales & marketing, otherwise known as the Director of S&M, is very deserving of that title, as well as some others spoken FAAAAAAAAAAAAAR behind her back.

Yours,

benji

If he doesn't honor his obligations, you are well rid of him.  I know that doesn't help the kids though.

My ex was a much better financial support after the divorce.  My family and I were no longer obligated to bail him out of financial difficulties and child support is garnished from wages in my state.  So he actually had to keep a job.

Isn't it ironic?

Lots of people here use Lady or Lord - and thats OK because its only a screen name. Mind you, I have the legal paperwork for mine.

Well, I just got a first-time message of only a few sentences from a male submissive on another site this morning who signed his message, "Sincerely, Your slave."

Rather presumptuous since I have never met the guy,  he included only about half of the information I request in an introductory letter, and his profile is rather sparse.

Not even enough information to tell if there is the potential of him being My slave one day.

It sounds like he earned the title after the divorce...ouch!

There is also male dom I knew who claimed to be a "European-Trained Master."  When people would question him as to where he in Europe he got his training, what type of training he received, etc., he was always very evasive, so we had our doubts, LOL.

juliaoceania -> RE: So what self bestowed titles have you heard others use that they had no claim to? (9/29/2006 10:22:00 AM)

Or the ever popular Asian trained masters

Or the "I my father was a master"...I heard that one once.

gooddogbenji -> RE: So what self bestowed titles have you heard others use that they had no claim to? (9/29/2006 10:32:22 AM)

Or people of the famed European houses, especially the 12th house....

Other than the 10th house, I was trained there and it's real.

My boss uses the title ‘Boss’ I use the title ‘Prick’ for him instead. Is this kind of what you mean?

Lordandmaster -> RE: So what self bestowed titles have you heard others use that they had no claim to? (9/29/2006 3:04:15 PM)

I call myself "Lordandmaster."

Usually I say "Lam" for short.
