Only on an egg sandwich and salsa is great in/on an omelet. As for steaks...NO, you can't put anything on one of my steaks.

but none of us feel the need to eat them this way everytime

(ketchup on a steak... oh that is just plain wrong !!!)

I use ketchup as a dipping sauce with damned near anything... eggs, scrambled, fried, sunny side up, over medium, poached, hell, even boiled; as well as with steak, chicken, bologna, shrimp, fish (all types except salmon,) corn, boiled potatoes, mashed taters, broiled reds, hashbrowns, bacon, pork, sausage, hamburgers, meatloaf, french fries, hell, I've even dipped bread into ketchup, to get a tangy tomato hint while eating turkey, or cornish hen...

and don't get me started on how many recipes I have containing ketchup as an ingredient...

I put Ketchup on everything.  I buy the economy size at Sam's Club.  It has to be Heinz.  The best is a fried egg and cheese sandwich with bacon, ketchup and mayo.

Scrambled eggs with salsa and fresh, homemade tortillas.. yum! The only things I put ketchup on are french fries though. :)

Celeste

Normally I don't even eat eggs but this made my stomach growl. Heading north for breakfast!!!!!

Now I will say, I almost never eat ketchup on anything but french fries which I almost never eat anyway. A bottle of ketchup can sit in my fridge for years. I hate runny eggs, just looking at them oozing on a plate makes me gag. Just gross, bleck, ick, EWWWWW!
Now as for as steak, if you even THINK about putting ketchup on a steak I have cooked I will never allow you to eat beef in my home again. Ketchup on steak is a sin, a crime against all delicious parts bovine!! Steak is meant to be eaten rare, with a few choice seasonings prior to grilling.

My ex enjoyed his scrambled eggs with ketchup and miracle whip.  It looked gross

I have a huge thing against miracle whip.  I will not buy it, I can't stand the way it tastes.  I think it ruins everything it touches.

Ketchup has its place, and it AIN'T ON EGGS. NEVER on steak. You put A-1 on steak, not ketchup.

Ketchup on eggs...ughhh, y'all are nasty.

And I smother my steak (and pretty much any other red meat for that matter) in A1 sauce I practically drink the stuff.

Who eats ketsup on their eggs?  I have been called crazy several times today because of it.  Am I the only weird one out there?  I also use salsa on my eggs too.

I used to enjoy ketchup w/ my scrambled eggs too.   I also used to  *LOVE*  salsa and cheese omelets, mmmmm.

Haven't ate either anytime recently, but they used to be quite yummy to me.

(My taste buds change pretty frequently these days so I am not sure if I still enjoy these.)

P.S.  I enjoy steak naked, maybe some spices, but no A-1 or anything else    *blech*

Daddy took me out to dinner tonight and I had my steak completely "nekkid."  No sauces of any kind came between my steak and my tastebuds.
