Hi erin, hope you're feeling well. Hmm, lots of guys named "Jesus" try to come across the border....okay, lame joke, I know. Honestly, if Jesus were here, I think he'd be horrified at a lot of things, but trying to keep illegal immigrants out of this country would be waaay down on the list, if there at all. I think that we've built a world where anyone is desperate to feed themselves or their loved ones, or combat sickness, would anger him more than anything.

I think the Golden Rule is the ultimate. I'm not extremely religious, but I feel certain that Jesus would not judge nearly as harshly as many of us do. I think he would be deported, or kissed (in reference to that other thread).

ya know...whenever i see "WWJD" on anything (bumper stickers, t-shirt, braclets, etc.) i think to myself (since verbalizing my statement tends to upset those who display these things): Jesus would come down...take one look around and throw up his hands and say "you're all on your own...it's a lost cause"...but hey...that's just me.

I'm gonna laugh when it the "Heaven's Gate" people or any other out there sect that gets it right. That line for Hell will be LOOONG. But that's ok. You'll be in line with your friends and we'll have all the good music and food.

I don't really believe, at least not in the traditional sense. I kinda think modern day christianity is just royally screwed up. Not surprising the state of the world today. However, my opinion is that A. he may have already come and said "God, these people are so fucked up I quit!" OR, he started to come and did a U-turn and said "let em keep self destructing and I will come back later to pick up the pieces"
