But out of the majority of people that I've read posts by on here in the plethora of DaddyDom threads...it has little to do with roleplay...it's a lifestyle. There are distinctions between the two for a LOT of people.  The cut and pasted essay was a great example and one that I see related all over the place and repeated a lot.

Thank you Aine for pointing this out.  What i did with my (former) Daddy was not roleplay...it was a lifestyle.

And personally, it did include some degree of ageplay (although i truly hate that word but use it for clarification purposes).  i was never a baby but i was a different 'age' with both of the Daddies and with one, had talked about exploring other ages as well.  i think that was a mindset for me more than anything....and i loved it!   [&:]

But that's a good point  you made   [sm=applause.gif]

the link posted by velvet tears is the piece i read when i was 14--when i first started researching the lifestyle.  i had always wanted a relationship like the one she described but i never knew it had a specific name or was even part of something like D/s or BDSM (although i know having this sort of relationship isn't limited just to our lifestyle).  i've always loved that piece, it's always struck something in me.

hope the OPer's question was answered.

LA is enjoying an anniversary and birthday with her partner :)  But still having time to check in and help out when needed.

Your commitment to the cause is an inspiration LA! [:D] Hope you had a lovely celebration.

CrappyDom,  you sound a little torn about definitions and stuff.  I don't think they are all that important.  The dynamic between people is.
