If the question was serious I have no idea as to a set number. Perhaps, as many as sanity will allow. But, if it was meant to inspire a laugh you people are smokin'. Larry the Cable (Collar) Guy could get some awesome material here. The post of 8 if their small rolled me.

Seriously, I say as many as they can support - emotionally, financially, ect.  It all depends on the circumstances and the people involved, as do so many things in this lifestyle.

I think it depends on what kind of 'slave' they are - are they at home 24/7 seeing to your needs, or working and tithing part of their income to help support the Household? I'm rather interested in the latter.

I have my puppy and my houseboy, but room in my heart for perhaps two more, eventually. Of course, one fantasizes about a 'plantation'... A few dozen slaves working to see to my everyneed, and make me filthy rich in the process! Any offers? No? Darn...

Three's Company...oh, that was a tv show, too, wasn't it?

i don't think there is any set number. Some Doms only want one or can only handle one at a time (we're hard work!), others have several and wouldn't have it any other way. my  personal favourite is three, with maybe one being a switch, but that's just my personal preference.

Depends on how many hours you work, if you have a family, any hobbies, how long commuting takes etc. There really are only 24 hours in a day. Take away 8 for sleep, three for meals, 2 for relaxing, 1 for exercise, then remove work time, time spent playing golf or Everquest, coaching basketball, a couple for household maintenance/errands and see what's left if any. If you have one whole hour left I suggest spending it maintaining the present relationship, not ignoring that one in favor of chasing new ones.

I think its a mistake to get hooked into answering these incredibly stupid questions. I refuse to believe that anyone is quite this dumb. There seem to be people who ask a question - usually idiotic - so as to induce others to spend their time trying to answer. This seems to provide the author of the scam question some kind of satisfaction.

Scam questioning is a form of non-consensual kink.

On the other hand, even when a question is an obvious plant, it can still be very useful to give thoughtful answers.
