Answer: A Rottweiler.

This one brought me a sad smile. I work at the local Humane Society and we have so many rottweilers that were abused and/or neglected because of this misconception. We have to put down about 50 of them a year because they cannot be socialized due to the abuse or neglect. It's very sad that such a loyal and generally friendly dog got such a bad reputation.

*applauds you*

As a current owner of a pitt bull, it makes me so sad to hear that "x breed is just innately violent"

I know this is a joke, I can take it as such, I just feel bad for all those Big Rough Tough Evil Mean Dogs (tm) that through their owner's poor choices are euthanized.

know how hard it is to take one of thsoe dogs in. I have an american bulldog loves people and all other critters, so i went thru the rescue group and adopted a pit female. SHE was soooooo sweet with people, but with other animals no she went for my dogs thoat numerous times. So she had to be brought back to the pound and i worked with rescue to make sure they got her back and i found out she has a loving no other pet home!

She was a fighter and had been stiched up, just could not be around any other animals people kids all fine, animals noooo. It broke mny heart i only had her 10 days but i cant do that to my dog again.

~sigh~ yeah.

I have the sweetest pit in the world, but she is dog-aggressive. She'd never in a zillion years hurt a person, but she has problems with other dogs. This is largely our fault for not socializing her better when she was young. I can't imagine what a dog would be like if it were activly -taught- to be animal-aggressive.
