Okay, I'm Naive!
I figured that people in the lifestyle would be more tolerant of other people's preferences, etc. - it appears that like any group, there is a certain percentage of intolerant people that can't just say, "To each their own"
I try to live by the, "Don't judge, lest you be judged" motto anymore - I was more intolerant in my younger days (I still have a problem with stupid people, but I digress)
I'm considered your average white male who leans more conservative. I'm not a rascist, a bigot, etc. I don't think a person's race, color, size, creed, whatever indicates what type of person they are (there appears to be stupid people in every known category of people, but I digress once again), but there are trends in some ways (Carlos Mencia is quite good at pointing these out - and we all laugh at ourselves because of it).
I'm not against illegal immigration because they happen to be Mexican; I just think we should know who's coming into the country and it's not fair to the Mexicans that are trying to immigrate using the legal methods. There are submissive Asians, but not all of them are and so what if they want to be. Not all bald white guys are skin heads, but you will find some. Pick any category of person, think about the stereotype associated with that category, and then think of anyone in your own category that fits that stereotype. I've been able to think of at least one and sometimes that person was me (who knew I was part Indian LOL)
As for Stupid people, understand my definition. A person that is ignorant in some topic is simply unaware or does not have knowledge of that particular topic; all of us fit into the category on many topics. A Stupid person is knowledgable / aware of the topic, but insists on saying or doing the wrong thing anyway.
For the record, I have been stupid on more occasions than I'm pleased to admit - guess I'm human ;-) In fact, I did something stupid last week to someone on one of these message boards - thank goodness they were kind and understanding, and, I'm glad to say, tolerant of my faux pax.
