That picture is beautiful Red. I've always loved Benetton ads (united colors of benetton) because of the whole spectrum of colors they have within. Nevertheless Suave does sound like an one hand typing wanker. M

Sorry but i still feel it's merely a personal perference---although i agree with a color blind society, i sincerely think it's a battle that will be fought yet never won.

I see on your profile that you ask the men who write to you to be "age-appropriate"... Some (though not me) may see that as being discriminatory because you have an age preference that suits your interest or needs better than others. Some (not me) may say that experience, not age, is a better barometer. If those people were to jump on you for expressing a preference, I would say that they can't make your decisions for you, and you - as a grown woman - know your 'druthers better than someone else. I don't think that "racial preference" is any stranger than "age preference." Neither one are gauges for me, and neither one make any difference if someone wants to choose a partner based on one or the other, because it is none of my business. I hope that this will make my position clearer to you as I feel that you have not understood my posts or those of others who have written similar ideas. seems we go over the race thing every other month. we like what we like. sometimes it's just what one is used to or what is available in thier area. can we all just like what we like? the only problem i had with the op was the BBC thing. it made me laugh uncontrollably. but hey....it's really my problem tho. i too miss the benetton ads. i used to buy thier diapers for my demon spawn.

Maybe the issue is that others see it not as a "race" issue, but as a preference based on skin color, tone, texture, etc. Why do we prefer those that we do? It comes down to what floats your boat. I didn't see the OP as based on "racial identity" at all - just another kink in the system. And... no one is bashing you - we understand it's your concern and that you're not trying to put it on others, we are just conversing as we always do. :)

I have a friend that is a black Dom. He and I talk once in a while, and he is really a great guy. He asked me why no one wanted a black Dom, and I had no idea what to say. I told him that it never mattered to me at all, and he said that's one of the reasons he has always liked me. I guess everyone does have a preference though, but I put mine more on the person, not the skin. I think sometimes it's easy to feel like your thought of more as a novelty than a person. I really feel for him, and know that any woman that got him, would be very lucky in their choice. We had lost touch over the last few months, and he just looked me up the other day.
