There are basically two types of domme's , one with 10 -15 years experience others who are quite new in life style like 6 months. If you have an option to choose a domme which one will you choose experienced one or new one ? .
I think experienced domme is less likely to leave any permanent damage to your body but on other hand she might be able to identify your week point quickly ...
While cannot comment on new Domme's but yes i think they will give more attention to their subs than experienced domme 's

The problem with stereotyping is reality can often it leave your expectations flat or turn them topsy turvey ...

I am curious what category you assign to dommes who have more than 6 months experience but less than 10 years ;-)

less than 6 yrs: Newbie Domme
6 months to 10 yrs: Supreme Domme
!0 yrs +: Experienced Domme .

Dear still exploring, there is no way you can offend me. I was just teasing. Thank you for being so concerned about my feelings but I promise, it is really not necessary. I have the hide of a rhino most days, especially for internet stuff.

I disagree with this part. I know a lot of experienced, supreme and new dommes. There are those who give a great deal and those who feel slaves are mere property. Simply look for someone who matches your needs and wants. If they are new, then the two of you can go together to places where you BOTH can learn...since I'm recalling that you are new, too, right?

I could care truly less about the experience part. There are so many more factors that come into play then the amount of times a person has had a flogger in thier hand. Personality, chemistry, common interests and beliefs and on and on before experience is a factor to me.

I would also ask what type of experience this "experienced" Dom had? Was it with one slave for all those years? Was it fifteen slaves? Was it 24/7 or all play party experience?

Give me trust, chemistry, common goals and beliefs with enjoying each other's company and I will gladly let them learn with my body.

If your question was pure theoretical and you meant that they were 100% exactly the same in every way but the experience, then I would choose the experience one but only if they had not become jaded or complacent by their experience.

Experience is barely even on my radar screen. My focus is on adequate levels of: chemistry, compatibility, and communication.

My sentiments exactly! The only thing I would add is that I feel self-knowledge, as well as the openness to continually learn about oneself is very important as well. If a person knows themselves, and is willing to continually explore their own feelings and communicate about it, experience level has very little bearing. The two of you will rack up plenty of expertise along the way, and in my limited experience, the knowledge gleaned of one anothers' desires/needs is far more valuable than anything either of you might have known about previous partners.

Belive me, bad Dom/mes come in all experience ranges. The first Dom I ever played with had been in the lifestyle, as he put it "before it had an alphabet", but he couldn't read me for shit.

I'm in the under 6 month category. I'm taking it slow and learning a lot before I start smacking anyone. I think the one thing I can do right is to know my limitations. I know I'd feel a lot better having someone go away disappointed because I was too "easy" on them, than to have them go away injured because I tried to do something beyond my knowledge range.
