Status: offline 		There may be lot of  reasons for suicides , But one of the major reason is  " Peoples feel lonely and  lost control over their  minds ,or  negative thoughts  attack thier minds  and they loose control over thier minds"
now if  you let someon else  control  over your  negative mind (your dom) . Will it help such peoples ? will it help world to lower  number of suicides ?

Status: offline 		Suicide deals with unstable people. I have been there. It has nothing to do with the lifestyle and everything to do with working to get yourself out of the hole. A good relationship might offer you a nurturing atmosphere in which this is easier, but it doesn't have to be a Ds relationship.

Status: offline 		BDSM is not Crisis Intervention....it is not an alternative to therapy...it is not an umbrella for disturbed and depressed people to seek shelter under.

Status: offline 		For the unstable BDSM may be harmful.  Not really sure no studies on it to my knowledge.  I also think the factor of depression at the time of joining vs becoming depressed after joining would be have impact on the question if it slows suicide rate.
