But with further thought perhaps she is dealing with things in her home/head/heart that none of us are aware of. jules, if i may, it seemed from the first post of hers that i saw that she was seeking validation. she wanted to know that it was ok to put her occult interest first and her Dom second. Many said that they would not accept that. So she kept trying in other ways to validate her desires. Several told her that if her Dom accepted it that was what was important. It seems to me that, that was not enough. she seemed to want everyone to agree that it was ok for a submissive to put her interest first and her Dom second. You were guilty only of not assuring her that it was ok, as i see it. i saw no barbs or rude responces in Your initial posts to her. As the discussion went down hill, You did so a tad bit but not to the level that she did. Speaking about trust and credibility, threatening to leave is shallow if announced. It has the effect of creating a publicity poll, and just about as meaningful. Better to be missed and wondered about. (See - the "Where's Dread" thread.) Pity those that have so little in their lives that something said to, or about them, on the internet moves them to tears. Worse yet those whose dominance/submission, power/surrender is exclusive to this sites interaction. Who you are starts when you turn the computer off. As for the effect of anyone leaving this site.... The cacophony of sound would be equivalent to the din of millions, clapping with one hand. Or.... If a tree fell in the woods and nobody heard it, would it make a sound?
