Bush will be ostrasized if he doesn't get us invovled in Darfur and villified if he does.

What makes the US appear weak, among dozens of other things, is the fact that we are the only democratically elected government that is willing to turn over our voting system to an easily hackable computer system put in place and controlled by a Republican supporting company.  Check out Robert F. Kennedy's reports on the last election in Rolling Stone.

Are you insinuating that there are still people in the United States who actually dont want to ostracize and villify Bush?

Just me, could be wrong, but there you go.

One thing Americans don't know is the lengths American corporations will go to to make a profit - this is just one area, when it comes to energy and minerals it get's even worse.

Naturally, one would expect to encounter some degree of resentment over this, and this resentment is then exploited in the ignorant by religious demogagues, who teach them violent instead of democratic solutions - becase they have no interest in weakening their personal power.

But, of course, mentioning this routine, corporate psychopathic indifference is fobbed off as "America hating" by the corporate shills, Limbaugh, etc. who go on to list how convenient it makes your life - a religion of rapacity.

Not only weak, but predictable - we'll do anything for money.

I always thought it was considered adult behavior to take responsiblity for your actions: apparently though, it depends on whether you stand to lose money or not. It really irritates me that both sides are being played, on the one side, to protect corporate profits, and on the other to maintain domination.

They both feed off of, and promote ignorance. Key phrase to listen for in republican speech: "the public has a short memory" - they have a low opinion of their constituents, it's sad to see them proved right.
