I still am new at posting here so I hope I do this right. I did a search on this topic but due to the fact that I honestly don't spell that well even with trying a variety of different spellings nothing came up. I was just wondering if anyone had any opionions or experience with this that may be able to help.

Mistress has plans to have my nipples pierced and has told me this for awile. I have gotten use to the idea and accepted it and now she has told me she is going to pierce with a 10 gauge. I am nervous about it. I have a fear of things piercing through my flesh and am scared when the time comes I will panic and make her look bad. I know she won't make me do anything I am not capible of, though.

There is this technique where you can make your subconscious believe things or change the way you feel about things. There was an artical about it that I read and it sounds like it may be able to work. http://www.domsubfriends.com/voye/articles/99/ . I was thinking maybe it may work to help me overcome the fear and help me relax when the time comes. Mistress thinks it may be a good idea. Many because I am not scared of the pain, I am scared of the thought. I know she is planning on doing this in about two months and I would like to be able to make her proud and not be a wimp about the whole thing.

Does anyone know if this technique actually works? of has anyone have any expierence with it or opionions about it.

Positive self affirmations do work. It is just like anything else in life though....you get out what you put in. I don't agree with the article on one point. It states that this works if you believe in it or not. I don't think that is true. I think that when you don't believe in it, you do alot of negative subconcious and sometimes even concious self talk that can undermine the positive you are trying to create.

As for your nipple piercings, I have mine done and can tell you that I really enjoy them. The bad news is that they really do hurt very much to have them done. For some this really isn't bad news. The good news is that the intense pain only lasts about as long as the big gasp of air you take in when it is being done, then they are just sore and sensitive for a bit. 10 guage seems rather large to start out with and I wonder if that would increase healing time. You may want to try something smaller to begin with and then stretch up to the size desired. I don't knw how true it is but when I had mine done my piercer told me that even though they seem to be healed it can take up to 6 months. I have a friend who had hers done with a very large guage (I think it was 6) and after a year of constant problems and infections she finally took them out and just let them heal. She now has 12 guage rings that healed fine. I hope that MisSuz might be able to stop in on this post as she is a piercer and I am sure much more knowledgeable on this than I am.

I had the same infection problems with my eyebrow piercing and got it pierced with a smaller guage and stopped having the problems. After successful healing I started to stretch the hole (called guaging I think) and did not have any more problems.

I had one of my nipples done, the piercer knew I liked a decent amount of pain. He made sure he put the clamp on looser, and tighter, and so on.... letting the sensation build, by the time the needle passed through, I had an orgasm right there on the table. Perhaps telling the piercer, or perhaps your Misstress knows the piercer, and they are lifetyle friendly, will help.
I do agree with mistoferin though, that seems like a large guage to start with, and the larger the starting guage, the increased chance of infection.

10 gauge isn't necessarily too large for the initial piercing. It all depends on the anatomy being pierced.

The size of the gauge is not up to me. Mistress made that clear to me already. It will be the way she wants it. And she has spent time working me up the point where I am ok to get pierced. At first when we started together I was like No way not gonna happen. Now I am actually wanting to do it. I know it will please her if I can do this for her. I just don't want to end up panicing when it comes down to it.

I don't care what the rules say. As long as your Mistress dosn't mind, alcohol builds courage.

I'd like to hear how it all turns out after you get this piercing. Perhaps we can see a pic of it as well sooner or later.

I don't think alcohol will be allowed, and she said she wouldn't sadate me, yeah I asked but I already knew the answer. I talked with her at great length tonight, saw what the rings looked like and how it is done. I am a lot less nervous. She offered to have it done tonight but we decided against it. She says I am not quite ready yet. She has decided it better for me not to know the exact time and for it just to be done, which I think would be better. As for pictures, I will ask once it is done. One thing about pictures is they are Mistress to do what she likes with. The one on my profile was her doing.
