Hey all, wow you girls rock. I've been diagnosed with MPD I hope this clears up some confusion with you all. Knowing that you girls exist is just as important as my therapist has become. Knowing that I have a place in the world gives me something to look forward to. I have found a BDSM friendly therapist but I did get turned down by several therapists before I found mine. He's gay but he understands, kind of sad that I couldn't find a hetero therapist who understands but I feel 10 pounds lighter already. See you all soon. I have more life in me than ever before : ) Thanks again to all, to the girls who who took the time to help me. you are all godessess and will be with me forever. Lots of Karma coming to you all.

Love Ya : )

The myeloproliferative diseases ("MPD"s) are a group of diseases of the bone marrow where excess cells are produced. They are related to, and may evolve into, myelodysplastic syndrome and acute myeloid leukemia, although the myeloproliferative diseases on the whole have a much better prognosis than these conditions. The concept of myeloproliferative disease was first proposed in 1951 by the eminent hematologist William Dameshek.
Although not a malignant neoplasm, MPDs are classified within the hematological neoplasms.

She posted then ... vanished *lol*.  Maybe I'm just too tired to think straight, but ... I've not seen her on here prior to now.

My sympathies go out to her and her family.  OMG, her posting was very strange *lol*.

Now, jeffman1234 ... Very well done, which Med Page did you visit?  I've done the PDR, but that will give the overshare by listing the meds used in treatment as well as interactions between on med and another and one disease/disorder and another.

In the psych world MPD means Multiple Personality Disorder.  Technically, now known as Dissociative Identity Disorder.  That may explain the odd posting.

Yes, MPD does mean that.

And FYI, not everyone with MPD writes oddly or switches often or is in any way functional.

Most of us are very highly functional and successful thank you very much. And we are all strong people who survived.

Sorry MissyRane, no I didn't mean these posts have anything to do with that it's just that I have different perception's from single events, it's like two people are arguing about what things mean. It just seemed like everyone was getting confused by my original posts and I just wanted to explain that I was confused as well because like I said I have two different thought processes of single events. Sorry I need to stop posting until I work more things out but since you all were so helpful I thought I owed some of you an explanation.

There are two seperate MPD information kits offered in the PDR ... I would assume you have two personalities?  I had a slave with that once.  She could fry an egg wonderfully for a long period of time, then spent days wandering around trying to find the eggs.  She was such a wonderful person ... more lucid than not most times.  Her therapist, who gave me information when she listed me with POA (medical), that was a wonderful tool in helping her and the family.  She was stage 2 when she came to our family ... I gave her to a wonderful Master about 3 years ago who is a Psychiatrist when she moved to stage 4.  She was doing well at her birthday 2 months ago.

Then there was the lady that edited my books ... a brighter woman you would never meet.  I love her to death.  Like MS and many other disorders/diseases ... it depends on the 'growth rate' of that disorder/disease and the person with it that determines how it acts with each person.

Mogigo ... Keep your mind alive and well ... my families thoughts are with you, no matter who you are.

It's really not funny to make fun of someone's psychological disorder.  MPD in psych terms is MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDER.

However, what I find interesting is that he's used a term that is no longer used in the psychiatric field.  The new term for it is Dissociative Identity Disorder.  So, that leads me to suspect other things about either the therapist or that this is truth at all....and not some sort of self-diagnosis.
