Hello Everyone...*smile

As i was sitting here for a few minutes...i thought about stopping by the forums just to quickly check in...

i really have enjoyed my time here and i got to thinking...

How much time do you all spend online?  2 hours per day?  5 hours per week?  15 or more hours per week?

Are you remembering to take care of yoursevles in this area?

Sitting comfortably and not always slouching?

Sittinng a respectable distance away from the YouTube and taking care of our eyes?

Have fresh spring water or a healthy beverage close by?

Are you all balancing your online time with other areas of your lives with an eye on your mental health?

Just a gentle and friendly reminder to take care, with taking care of yourselves.

Just mindfully thinkin bout yall...*hugs if ya want them*

Good energy to You All for a nice weekend.

Sometimes i am here, sometimes i am not.  i was gone most of the summer. ATM, i am suffering a bad bout of insomnia and spend time here, writing short stories on a blog, in chat on another site, maintaining my various web pages, chatting online, etc.  i do take care to eat and drink, and wish i could replace this chair with s'thing much more comfy.

i try to lie down during the day/early evening and watch tv, but lately i feel like nothing interests me...reruns of Law & Order i have already watched 3xs, etc.  i am suppossed to avoid napping during the day as it can make the insomnia worse, so that's another reason i kinda avoid lying down much.

i have posted often in the last 2 days or so, but i will almost certainly lose interest in these forums soon as well.  What i enjoy the most is writing short stories, but i need a fresh idea.

By "online" do you mean at my computer?  Or at this site?

If at my computer, I spend a significant amount of time online.  Most of my work is done online.  Most of my school is done online.  All of my banking is done online.  I check online to see movie times and reviews, to shop, to research, to journal, etc.  At work I am in a chair at a desk.  Most other times I am in a recliner with a beverage (usually water, sometimes wine at night) nearby.  As for "balance," well my life is currently totally out of balance but that doesn't have anything to do with my computer :)

As for how much time I spent on this site...hmm..I don't really measure it.  I bounce in and out.  Since I'm at my computer anyway, I might keep this site up in the background (I usually have about a dozen or so documents and/or sites open at once) and if there is an interesting thread or two I might toggle back & forth from time to time.  If I post a lot on a given day, that doesn't mean I'm sitting here at this site all day; it just means I'm flipping back and forth between the other dozen things I am doing.

I usually have it up and in the background while I'm doing other things, like emails, blogging, shopping, chatting, reading doing things around the house and I pop in and out as the mood strikes to read or post.

My computer is the first thing I turn on in the AM.
No,make  that the second thing.
And  the third would be  the coffee maker.
I dont usually watch tv unless it's to listen to the news or a game..
I listen to music ,it's always in the background..I usually have  my yahoo or aol up so
I can hear "incoming" if I am in the house.
I shut the ringer off my phone if I dont want to be bothered, but I had another line installed years back ,so I very seldom shut this PC down.
I exercise in this chair,I have a little gym going on.
I would still rather be in the sun than in here,
unless Master's on of course.
I can spend a lot of time here.
Hours in this chair sometimes.
Collarme usually loads when I load yahoo.
I don't do chat rooms.
I talk to friends here, because over the last year and a half my vanila friends have dwindled considerably.
So it's the pc or the phone that mostly keeps me in daily contact to other bdsm ers.

I'm a writer by trade so I'm online much of the time with my editor mostly.  I visit CM during the evenings in most cases, then back to the book.  I have a December deadline for the romantica and a February deadline for the poetry, so I'm very busy right now.  Between investigating artists to draw cover art for the romantica and doing corrections (with some arguing about semantics in between them), I'm on the computer most of the day.

EEEKKKK ... I need a vacation !!

About a year ago Hubby made me leave CM because i was spending too much time here. I was allowed back 6 mo. later but have to limit my time, that's why i don't post much any more.

I'm online alot.  Its the only place I can consistatly connect with Angel.  Its also the easiest way for me to avoid my parents. Mom thinks if the computer is on and working, I shouldnt be disturbed. So, for sanities sake, im online alot.
Thankfully, though, it does not get in the way of the "real life" that I have.  I dont ditch friends, or anything of that effect. Im just on an unusual amount.

I'm retired so it varies. Some days not at all, some days if there's some interesting topics I might be on for a few hours.
I'm on a lot in the nightimes because I talk to a lot of friends on yahoo all over the country.

LOL...I hear ya!  It's how I make my living too.  It's funny...you'd think we'd be sick of the PC.  And a lot of times I am.  But it does get addictive.  I prolly spend more time than I should on the PC in general.  So I'm trying to wean myself off.

Monday thru Friday I am online from 8AM to 5PM guaranteed, its my job. What I am doing just depends. Saturday and Sunday mornings I catch up on my online corespondense with family and friends from far away. Sending photos of various interests etc. With family and friends scattered all over the world the internet is wonderful.

Most mornings I also use the net to check the weather forcast. We live clear out in the boonies and do not have local news channels available for the TV so I get most of my news and weather online.

I am a speed reader and fairly quick at typing so it doesn't take much to read thru a thread and jot in a note.
