MistressWildfire -> Are These Good Reads?? (10/7/2006 7:04:39 PM)

This is a question to My fellow Sisters here at Collar-Me.

I was just wondering what you think about the reading material out there for beginners of becoming a Mistress? Like the books: The Mistress Manual, or Female Domination for example. Do those types of books really give good advice and insight into becoming a Mistress or is there more to it than what those type of books can provide? Just a question from a new Mistress, I welcome Everyones input.

Although my 'parts' wouldn't quite match up, I read Female Dominance, but then again I collect most of the better books.

You can't go too terribly wrong with The New Topping and New Bottoming books, Screw the Roses, Different Loving, Consensual Sadomasochism and a whole host of similar 'starter' books.

After a while, though, they start to become rather same-y.

For advanced topics, I thoroughly enjoyed The Compleat Slave (and yes, that spelling is correct) and Slavecraft.

Consensual Sadomasochims is NOT like all the others and covers a lot of mental issues that others never even approach.
