Try the Waterhole. They're only $100 and should give you a taste of it. Problem is, if your waist is bigger than about 38" it might not fit right. I'm 37" controlled and they just barely fit me.

Yup, the Waterhole is plastic, but the belt is only symbolic in a way. Yes it will keep you from touching your naughties, but in an emergency or whatever it can be easily cut off.
