Many here seem to bash professional dominatrix without the experience to back it up. Personally, I've seen a dominant woman who is both life style and pro and have learned a great deal from her. She was stern, playful, creative and nurturing. But my experience falls on deaf ears of the ignorant who, as I said, are quick to bash them without the experience to back it up.

My question:

-What do you all think about professional subs?
-Some seem to say pro doms arent really dominants, so would it follow that pro subs not really subs?

Professional anything is fine. If someone wants to earn a living doing whatever they do best more power to them. I have no strong feelings either way about pro dom/mes or subs. There's a market there, those who want to use their services should, those who don't shouldn't.

Be careful with the generalizations. Not all of us have bashed pro doms. In fact, some of us either have been (me, retired), are, or have seen pros, and we've ALL been involved in the tribute and prodom debates on the boards.

I personally have nothing against a ProDom/me or prosub/slave ... there's a need for everyone's talents regardless of what they are. I ... train slaves. So what? It's just something I'm good at. The same is true of a ProDom/me or Pro-sub/slave.

You bring up an interesting point. When I decided to become a pro domme, I didn't just pick up and leave everyone behind. I still belong to several BDSM groups in the area and attend events and parties. If I play with someone while at a party or event, it's simply because I enjoy it whether or not I'm being paid. I do still have a personal submissive and a collared submissive. It is not out of character for me to help someone find a LTR if I know of a match for them. I am a lifestyle domme first and a pro domme second.

Good point actually Michael. How does one become a pro-sub? Is there a market for it?

Interested to know, as I've heard the term before, but never come across the phenomenon in reality.
