I am struck with a memory of visiting South America. Peasants in the Andes have strange habits when naming their children. One summer afternoon while riding horses with friends I came across the sons of the stable hand - the first named Eveready Condori (as in the batteries) and the second named Michael Jackson Condori.

Usmail was also a common name ... as in U.S. Mail. Hilter, Mao and Stalin are also heard. Amazing what illiterate parents will do thinking they are giving their kids an edge when it comes to a cache name!

I am not sure if it is the cynical side of me or the asshole side that just makes it impossible to come up with a serious name.  Years ago back when yahoo chat was new, I went by "master of pain" which was to remind me of how much emotional pain I did and could cause.

I figure if a woman can't see past a stupid name, she isn't worth tying up.

But seriously, Crappy, the profile is basically sound. You are clear on who you're looking for, without being too restrictive. A couple of suggestions, though:  you say you want a woman capable of having a long-term relationship, but that currently you're unable to support a commited relationship. It sends too mixed a signal, to me. Also, if I came across a profile that mentioned me "fearing for my life", no matter what else it said, I'd pass it up. There are too many freaks in the world for most women to get pass that, IMO.

Just a thought: are you sure your problem is your profile?  It seems to me that the more obvious (though less easily fixable) problem is your selection pool.  It may be worth thinking about to list your profile on one or two of the other BDSM-oriented sites, if you haven't already.

I like your name I think its funny and shows that you have a sense of humor. I've always enjoyed your posts because your point blank, I appreciate that in a person myself. I looked at your profile and I think its because you state your not looking for a committed relationship at this time. Frankly, a lot of the people here ARE looking for LTR, so that cuts down the pool quite a bit.

The pic  you have up is nice you won the CM eye candy award[;)] so its not your looks. You don't like heavier women, that also cuts down the choices but at least your honest about it. You say you don't like flogging and such, that takes the choices down even further.

But you will find what you seek it just takes time believe me. I waited 5 years to find my sub and I met him on an online game and neither of us had a clue that we were both into BDSM[:)] So it happens sometimes were you least expect it.

LOL... That's cuz you're 5'2" tall!
 
But you're right, people like what they like.  I just always thought people with such great disparities in height/weight ended up together in spite of themselves.  I'm a size 14 and am 5'8" tall...250# would be a lot of weight to have on top of me.
 
As for names...It's easy to put together first name or initials with a zipcode, huh?  or... PO Box number?  Or, how 'bout CD94203?

I also have an issue with the size 12 thing, only because a size 12 can be far ranging.  I'm 5'9", 150lbs (okay sometimes 155lbs) and I'm a size 12.  I'm not skinny, but I'm certainly not what I would consider "big", unless you consider my tall amazon-like height!

Point about the size thing.  Size 12 (or any other size) stated as a requirement isn't really fair or well thought out.  Height influences weight and width, which is good because otherwise we'd look pretty damn freaky.  Someone who's 5'8" or 5'9" would look great at a size 12, I think.  Me... when I was a size 12 and weighed around 135-140 pounds, my ass looked huge.  I'm a size 6-8 now (depends on the style of the clothing) and still need to tone up a little.  Size is relative.

Regarding honest profiles...I can't help but include the fact that I like RECENT pictures.  Didn't CD say the one posted is a bit old; that he has shoulder-length hair now...and has, perhaps, put on some pounds?  People talk alla time about bait-n-switch not being nice...
