It's a bit of a trick, though, when you have to send her back home to her husband afterwards. Duct tape leaves marks. So make sure her spouse or significant other knows what's going on before you duct-tape her mouth shut... Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, you're not supposed to get involved with anyone who has a spouse or significant other. Spare me.

Long before we had the balls to go to a sex shop or oder online we used standard things we had available, panties, stockings, necktie, biting a pillow, biting a blanket, his hand over mu mouth -- and you know, even after using pretty ordered gags and all, there is nothing more erotic for me than him using his hand over my mouth and just saying "quiet, now" swoons

One more thing, I may be too prissy but I get very annoyed if the gag, the kind you see on most porn or in sex stores, is put on me before I even have my clothes off, for me those gags can make me drool and I absolutely hate the very idea of it let alone feeling it happen. I enjoy it immensely for the whole submission of it and all once we've begun and I'm aroused, but when he's tried it on me when we're watching tv and suddenly I'm gagged -- not such a fan oridnarily lol Especially being "mostly vanilla" as you said, she may share this feeling with a storebough ball gag. It doesn't have the power to make every owman feel her most beautiful [:o]

I have a gag I bought from Paul C Leather years ago that seems to work very well, similar to the Bishops Gag. Red ball w/ leather panel that covers lower half of face, secures with strap. Pulled tight, it reduces many noises to a muffled little sound....

Discussing existing designs is all fine and good, but I had a radical idea I think is pretty good, but needs further refinement. A car muffler. You need some sort of panel gag or gasmask with some fat flezible tubing to connect it, but before you rush out and do it, let me tell you why I didn't. If the volume of air in the muffler exceeds the volume of the wearer's breaths, they could get anoxia. That means that they suffocate even though they can breathe freely, this because they are rebreathing the same air. If you're doing your job the air will be depleted of oxygen pretty quick. The only way to do it right would be a one way valve that would allow fresh air in on inhaling. Exhaling goes through the muffler. This also means you really shouldn't have to clean it. When a muffler is made there could be machine oil or who knows what in it, probably something you'd rather not breathe. Funny how this forum invokes my evil genius mode :-) T

Another thing you can do is just take a long scarf or sash roll a lime in it and you have a quick easy ball gag.
