MstrssPassion -> RE: I feel for you mistresses (10/11/2006 4:39:26 AM)

This isn't just to the OP or the person who posted after he did... but it goes out to every other person out there that carries on about how tough it is out there

Giving up guarantees one thing... failure.

If you thought this was going to be easy, you fooled yourself. If you thought this was going to get any easier once you met someone, then you most likely didn't know what you were getting yourself into in the first place.

I've posted this before:

I was single for nearly ten years & I am what is often deemed as the most sought after person in this "lifestyle", the single, non-pro, attractive, personable domme. This didn't make my search any easier. I attended live events & I joined groups. In the end it takes time & you have to be up to the task regardless of your position.

I say to those who seek immediate gratification & an easy path toward a blissful union... take a reality check.

Go into this prepared with the one thing that most overlook... knowledge as to what you want. If you are going about this feeling that well, when I meet someone we'll just figure it all out.... (loud buzzer sound) Wrong!!

Take the time you have while on your own to make friends, educate yourself, discover your true passions & identify the things that you know are not applicable. All of this will make you more attractive to others & able you to better market yourself to those who you wish to impress.

And as the new potential sub sees and hears all of this he, for one moment, he imagines himself in the place of the Mistresses and he feels sick to his stomach. He concludes that in this roar of idiocy he cannot ever be heard, or noticed, let alone appreciated. He doesn't want to be associated with these jackasses. He doesn't want to be seen in this convocation of jackals so... he gives up.

Nicely done. I love analogies. I know it probably seems hopeless at times, but believe me, it doesn't take long to pick out the "real men" from the mob. They are the ones NOT holding up dick pics, NOT shouting, NOT grovelling etc... They kind of stick out like a sore thumb.

HCWT1 -> RE: I feel for you mistresses (10/11/2006 8:34:56 PM)

Oh god,is nice ,to be different from the rest, not haveing to put up with all the trolling.
Ten emails a year, all from dom/domme,who know exactly what they are looking for.
Real pity most are to far away,to make thir others reality.

Now I am curious, SlaveChris25, what was your friends reaction  to C M? Could she be a potential Domme for you? I have had several girl friends that seemed like they would embrace the dominant lifestyle, but never had the nerve to suggest this site. I sometime look back and regret that I never revealed my sub side.Makes me wonder how many women out there would like a submissive male if they experienced one.

Ah yes, the pathetic, miserable existance of the malesub.

Wait, or is it the pathetic, miserable existance of the Domme??

I'm just tired and confused.

Either way I'm sensing that the WAAAmbulance will be pulling up shortly.

It's true - you're right, but it's a part of life.  Don't let it affect you though. Keep your search going and remember it's not just in the BDSM world where it's hard to find a match - it's hard on vanilla sites as well.

Yes...and I'm sure You'll be behind the wheel.

And only slightly qualified.

Edited because I felt like it.
