With the price of gas, electricity, and healthcare, I may be truning Amish like it or not. It always seemed to be a happy culture promoting family and hard work as means of survival. There's no pitty party and welfare here. You work and save or you die.

Yes, but having lived near them my whole life. Their life is not nearly as lovely as it appears.
