Hello All,
I'm reading Masters & Johnson the Human Sexual Response.
I ran across something that actually shocked me & changed my view of a womans vagina.

I'd always thought a womans bud in her clit was a nub that the chromosomal distinction of female response made into a vagina instead of a cock.
I read a womans clit and it's physical & nervous structure are not formed in any way similar in their book.

All this time I had thought my clit's bud was like a little cock that didn't grow since I'm a girl.

The second thing I'd like to share that made me go wow was on the news this morning.

A study was done where they took photos of woman during ovulation, and then again later when they are infertile before their menses began.

Studies showed woman dressed more to attract the opposite sex even in long time monogamous happy relationships.
It also compared how all female creatures in estrus alter their surface appearances to attract a mate.
You know things like fluffing their feathers or grooming more etc... sorts of things.

The study also showed the women who were dating were having their choices affected in which type of male appealed to them during ovulation and non ovulation.
It showed woman are more attracted to a softer more steady guy when not ovulating, and more Dominant men during ovulation.
The last tidbit I found very interesting was woman who cheat on their mates usually cheat or have the desire to cheat much stronger during ovulation.

I knew hormones play a role in our sexual responses, but had no idea it affected us in these ways specifically.

I'm not looking for any specific type of responses here it's just interesting new stuff I wanted to share.
I thought I'd throw out there and see what we can think about these new concepts I have.

Human sexual response is fascinating stuff, it's one reason I encourage feedback: women always say they want to talk, but often shy away from stuff they might be ashamed of, or they think might make you mad, think less of them for, etc.

Maybe I'm an atypical male in that way, but I'd rather know exactly what's going on in your head: that feedback helps keep things moving, and can provide great fantasy material -  it could be a great humiliation scene for instance (if you're into that) to get your sub to dress up like a whore and take her out when she's ovulating, staging a rape scene at the right moment, etc..

Not to want to know this stuff is a form of denial - it can be healthy denial, there is no sense making a big deal over what might be a passing phase, but under other circumstances it might smooth things over for a while, but I think eventually it comes back to bite you in the ass one way or another, i.e., it should be dealt with openly.

There is in fact a huge debate that rages elsewhere over the entire concept of free will: the materialist camp maintains there is no such thing, the protiens and hormones expressed by genetic alleles governs all behavior, and even those things you call free will are simply different proteins and hormones telling you do something different, hence all behavior is predictable.

The free will camp finds this entire concept dehumanizing and demeaning, but generally lack the tools to effectively argue the point.

One of the basis's of the materialist argument is the metaphysical nature of "free will" in the idomatic sense. While the materialist paradigm is true, and to a much greater extent than most people imagine, I happen to believe that the cereberal capacity for abstraction itself provides the means of overcoming genetic programming to a degree, and this ability constitutes the empirical basis for defining free will - i.e., it creates the possibility for anomolous, unpredicatable behavior.

It's here, in your choices, that your humanity is found, I believe, though the debate may never be resolved.

Anyway, to get back to the OP, this is, as I say fascinating stuff - life is a learning experience, and the worst sin of all is to start thinking you've got is sussed and don't need to learn anymore.

There are more things in Heaven and Earth Horatio...

This is precisely why a man never knows where he is with a woman and why I prefer to live alone. Maybe I just lack patience or maybe it is the unfortunate type of women I have met. First they want you to treat them like the queen and then like a slut on the corner and if you get it the wrong way round you are thoughtless or maybe even offensive. Well I'm happy having my friends round for a beer and seeing a woman a couple of times a week knowing she has her own home to go back to in the morning. That way we both remain happy.

It is amazing how drastically you can reduce a woman's philandering and need to prune her feathers when you keep her handcuffed to the stove.

What you gotta laugh about is how they call men pigs. But of course, estrogens are more real and feeling and caring and all that asswipe.

This is why women are chained and beaten.

There is no doubt, regardless of womens desire to wear Versace and spray FDS on their cunts, we are indeed animals.  Why put on airs?

LOLOLOL,

Hello All,
I'm reading Masters & Johnson the Human Sexual Response.

Interesting! I was under the impression that female was the default, and that male organs would only be produced in the presence of testosterone and assuming that no chromosomal abnormality was present which might prevent the action of that testosterone.

From that, I understood that it was the self same stuff which forms the respective structures; ovaries/testicles, vagina/penis - dependent on hormonal actions in utero, with the clitoris being of the self same stuff as the sensitive tip of the penis.

This understanding was reinforced for me, when I was shown some pretty distasteful gynaecological pornography (isnt it great to have brothers!?), which showed how the clitoris in female bodybuilders' began to turn into something very like the tip of a penis under the action of certain drug treatments designed to enhance muscle building.

QUESTION - what was the verdict from the book then please?

Thanks in advance
E

Yeah, apparently the "divine will" breaks down to the chemical interactions in meat puppets. You are your nervous system.

Call me a romantic...

that makes sense...i'd bet u could say the flip side for males (re: hormones) is like being a woman in a constant state of ovulating times 3!

Yes, Scooter sounds miserable!  I don't know how he's able to go on everyday.
Relationships are a pain in the ass, but there are few things in this world sadder (IMO) than not having people who would care about you enough to know if you ceased to exist tomorrow.   M
